The concert was enjoyed both by faculty and residents alike. “This concert and other festivities will definitely boost student morale for Homecoming,” said Courtney Smith, lead coordinator of the concert.

G-Spot is currently taking the billboard charts by storm with their hit single, “Do the Stanky Leg.”

The song is being added to regular rotation in major markets such as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Miami and New Orleans. The group has built a buzz by its consistent grind with guerilla marketing as well as online promotion. The group dedicated work ethic has helped them receive over a million views on Youtube and several record deal offers. Currently G-Spot is on a college tour promoting the hit single as well as the accompanying dance throughout the South including such schools as Morehouse, Grambling State and Alabama A&M University.

Fans can expect more mixtapes, in-store appearances and radio features as they continue with their tour. Fans in the UC were very impressed by the way G-Spot interacted with the audience the entire show. The show consisted of lots of energy and plenty of crowd participation, one fan said, “I was extremely impressed by G-Spots’ performance, they made sure the audience was involved and everybody had a good time.”

With many of today’s rappers glorifying money and crime in their lyrics it’s good to see a new breed of artists that are bringing the fun back into hip hop. For more information on G-Spot visit myspace.com/themgspotboyz or themgspotboyz@aol.com
