Men’s fashion trends of 2008

1.Cashmere and “New School” Cardigan Sweaters.

These sweaters can be dressed up or dressed down with your favorite pair of jeans or slacks. If you are looking for nice quality cardigans check out the GAP, Urban Outfitters, any department stores. For the “ballers”(those who have received their O.P. check) Neiman Marcus and SAKS Fifth Avenue.

2.Straight-leg, Fitted Jeans.

The fall calls for fitted, tailored or straight jeans. The baggy jeans have been thrown away and being replaced by straight jeans. Whether it be Levis, True Religion, Rock and Republic or any other brand, make sure they fit, tailored (if needed) and are comfortable.

3.Plaid

Plaid anything is the best way to go for the Fall. Men, plaid shirts have always been a good look. Ladies, plaid jackets, shirts, skirts, shoes have always been a good look on you. The fall calls for plaid, but ultimately plaid is a classic type of clothing that will never go out of style.

4.Tailored Suits and Blazers

As we develop into young professionals, it is time for us to start dressing like young professionals. Fall fashion calls for tailored suits and blazers. Ladies and gentlemen please read. When you purchase a suit or blazer makes sure it fits your body, and doesn’t appear baggy. If it doesn’t take it to the nearest tailor (there is one located in Waller) and ask them to fix it so that it will fit. Believe me, once your fit fits everyone will respect your “fresh.”

5.RETRO

All I can say is pea coats, scarves, trench coats, and anything else that was worn years ago, is back in style. Anything you put on from a decade before your time will look good on you. Just visit your local Ralph Lauren Stores, and you will see plenty of retro articles of clothing. Some pieces are timeless, and will never go out of style (Fonzworth Bentley).
