The Prairie View A&M women’s track team traveled to LSU for the 2010 LSU Alumni Gold Meet at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium last weekend.
Margaret Harris was the top finisher for PV placing 6th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.22 and 10th in the 200-meter dash with a best season mark of 24.89.
Branee Robinson also posted a best season time of 2:25.65 in the 800-meter run along with Leticia Bustamente.
Andrea Chambers had her record lengths of the outdoor season with a throw of 12.28 meters in the shotput and 148-5 in the hammer throw.
The 4×400 relay team had an outdoor best run of 3:48.70.
The team consisted of Harris, Whitley Dobbins, Sabia Hughes and Terracia Moody while Moody had an outdoor best mark of 25.08 as the freshman ran the 200-meter dash.
Ashley Parker and Brittany Earl recorded season highs as Parker posted a mark of 103-3 in the discus, while Earl completed the hammer and shot put with lengths of 129-8 and 32-9.5 respectively.
The Lady Panthers will travel to the nationally-renowned Penn Relays beginning on Thursday, April 22 in Philadelphia, Pa.
