Yearbook makes its return

Dear Panthers,

Put on your best outfit and smile big students, faculty, and staff. The Pantherland Yearbook is back! After eleven long years history will be made once again here at the University.

The purpose of our yearbook is to record, highlight, and commemorate the past year of our school. The question has been asked many times “why have we not had a yearbook in eleven years”? Or “Why didn’t we have a book last year”? My answer is simple THINGS HAPPEN.

Last year we set out to acquire the necessary resources to produce a quality product. Now that we have the proper funding, a team of experienced professionals, and an anxious staff, the stage is set to make this book come to life. I’m not interested in any negative talk about yearbook.

The past is the past, one of my mottos is to “live and learn”.

Where there is productivity there is support. Panthers we need your help and support to produce this book.

Participating in surveys, nominating and voting for class favorites, joining the yearbook staff and most importantly, taking your yearbook picture are some of the ways you can contribute to your book. We want this book to be student oriented as much as possible.

This is our school, our book, and our chance to showcase the productivity-taking place on our campus.

The primary goal this year is to capture the most memorable moments of student life and university highlights.

We want to rebirth the tradition of a publishing the Pantherland Yearbook annually. With your help and support, I promise you all the Pantherland Yearbook is here to stay. I look forward to seeing you all in the 2010-2011 Pantherland Yearbook.

Sincerely,

Editor-In-Chief , Pantherland Yearbook
