Minister Brandon Long presented the university’s first two-day revival last week in the Johnson-Phillips All Faiths Chapel, a worship experience aimed primarily at students who were struggling in their Christian walk.
“Our vision was to bring deliverance to anyone that was struggling with lust, fornication, drugs, lying, anything!” said Long. He continued, “We also wanted to aid those who haven’t accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour.”
Long, a sophomore, planned the event and also ministered the first night. Baptist Student Movement and PV Mime performed and on the second night Joseph Head brought the word to the students.
Approximately 30 students came to the alter and either dedicated or rededicated their lives to Christ during the two nights of praise and worship.
