Women’s basketball member Robin Jones excelled these past two road games against Grambling State and Jackson State. Jones led the team in scoring with 26 points total and 15 rebounds; gaining the team two wins. She has been the starting forward since the ending of the 2010 season and the 2011 season this year.
Jones said, “I think my confidence and my ability to play has improved over the years, so it translates when I play on the court.”
Throughout her career here at Prairie View, Robin has scored 219 points averaging 9.5
points a game and racking 138 rebounds averaging six a game. Jones has progressed over the years and is still excelling in her senior year.
