Out with old, in with new

Student Government Association certified an increase on the student recreations fee due to go into effect in the fall 2011 semester. The decision was approved by the majority student vote of the new recreation center.

Sophomore business management major Dominique Brock said, “I’m excited that finally the new recreation center plans are confirmed and will begin.”

Student voting referendum hit its highest number to date with 520 out of the total 760 students voting for “Option D,” the largest and most attractive recreation center with a fee cap of $175 per semester.

SGA Association Advisor Steven Ransom, Chief Justice Harris D. Brown and Election Chair Trenton Johnson confirmed building to be completed in the fall semester of 2013.
