Due to academic related issues with senior biology major, Joshua Hickey, junior agriculture major, Osadeba Omokaro has as- sumed the responsibility of Mr. Prairie View for the 2011-2012 academic school year.
Omokaro said, “Becoming Mr. Prairie View is exciting and it made me realize that God has a plan for me. I was sad to see my close friend step down, but I know he is going to support me.”
The 19 year old Missouri City, Texas native wants to start on a clean slate, as he attempts to add to the student morale.
Omokaro said, “I want to hold seminars centered on respect teaching people to respect themselves and those around them.”
Also, Omokaro wants to be more open and inviting. He wants to be a significant help to everyone and wants everyone to feel welcome and comfortable every time they step foot on Prairie View’s campus.
Tiffani Prosper, a senior criminal justice major, said, “Omokaro is an educated and well groomed young man. I think that he will be an excellent representation of the University.”
