Open House Thursday showcased all the organizations, clubs, focus groups, sororities and fraternities as they searched for potential members to add to their programs.
The MSC was full of Panthers, interested in participating in some of the campus’ various student activities.
According to the program coordinator, Orok Orok, “This year’s Open House proved to have the best turn out. I believe the success of this year’s event was due to the increase in organization participation.”
Many organizations have the same objective in participating in the Open House every year: to target students who can possibly be an asset to and benefit from its operations.
Ashley Williams, junior biology major, said, “This is my second year participating in the Open House with my organization, the Pharmacy Club. This is really the most effective way to reach out to students and let them know that our club even exists. We just started last year so this event has helped out tremendously.”
