The Lady Panthers couldn’t win their season opener against the Rice Owls at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, Texas.
The Panthers were smothered defensively scoring 42 points in the game, and shooting 28.6 percent from the field, losing 57-42.
Panther Guard Latia Williams led the offensive attack scoring 10 points.
