The west take the edge for All-Star

All-Star Weekend finds its way back to Houston for the third time in All-Star history at the Toyota Center, where the Western and Eastern Conference will clash once more with the divisions best players on the frontline.
The roster for the All-Star Game is epic and shows for a good game between the two divisions.
Since the edge goes more to the Western conference they have more experience on their side with Houston Rockets’ James Harden being the only first time selection on the team.
The Eastern conference on the other hand has six first time selections on their team, which leads to their lack of experience.
The returning All-Stars for the Western conference, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, and Chris Paul are the power houses in the league and will be the starting five for their conference.
The Eastern conference will set the tempo with Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Kevein Garnett, and Dwayne Wade according to the National Basketball Association.
Celtic guard Rajon Rondo was supposed to be a starter, but will not participate due to injury.
Aside from the game fans will witness the leagues greatest dunkers and most skillful guards showcase their moves.
Returning champs like Jeremy Evans will compete in the 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk contest defending his title as 2012 Slam Dunk Champion.
The starting guard says that he is excited for the competitors in the dunk contest and hope his teammate Eric Bledsoe can bring home the championship.
For 50 years the National Basketball Association has staged the All-Star Game, bringing a sense of excitement away from the regular season.
Originally it was a stunt to bring attention to the basketball league after the college point-shaving scandal, and it turned out to be an annual show.
All-Star Weekend is an historic event that will continue to be exciting for fans and competitors in the league.
