There have been numerous incidents where people are injured by stampeding buyers attempting to get the hot commodity sneakers. Extreme cases where people were held at gunpoint and many brawls have occurred over the collectible items.

Many females have even outnumbered males in the last couple of years. While movie enthusiasts have their film festivals, and comic book fanatics have Comic-Con, the sneaker summit is a place where like-minded sneaker lovers can come together to discuss what’s new.
