All the Way Live in 2005:

This year’s SpringFest “All the Way Live in 2005” is presented by the Campus Activities Board. SpringFest will be a week long and feature a variety of activities for students to participate in. The kick off event was held Monday, April 11, outside Memorial Student Center from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Tuesday, April 12, was the comedy show featuring Queen Aishah, Small Frie, Tony Roberts, & Mike Bonner. The event was held at the Baby Dome at 7 p.m. and the cost was $10. Chair member on the executive board of C.A.B, Tomaneka Smith, makes sure that every student knows about events that take place on campus. Smith is in charge of all publications. On Wednesday, April 13, a Poetry and Jazz Festival will be held outside the MSC at 7 p.m. free of charge. The Student Talent Show will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. also free of charge. On Friday, April 15 at Hobart Taylor’s lawn it’s the inflatable carnival at 7 p.m..

The step show and Glow zone after party is on Saturday, April 16 at 8 p.m. Cost is $10. “I hope that the SpringFest activities have a good turnout and that students get more involved in the activities.
I look forward to the inflatable carnival because family and friends come together. Also this year the event will feature two mechanical carnival rides,” said Smith.
