In collaboration with Dr. Louis P. Anderson and the Ujima Research Group, Pan African Documentaries and Films showed “Iron Ladies of Liberia,” a documentary featuring Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf on Feb. 18.
The documentary, Which was filmed in Liberia in 2006, focused on the election of Sirleaf, the country’s female president, and its recovery from the tyranny of its previous president of 14 years, Charles Taylor.
After the film, there were comments and a panel discussion that was led by Anderson.
