University staff members recently met with professionals with drug prevention and awareness experience, to plan an upcoming drug symposium scheduled for April 13.
This program will be geared toward letting students know the penalties and consequences of using both illegal and prescription drugs.
Many students do not know the resources of information and help that is available for people who struggle when it comes to drugs.
Door prizes will be given to those who stay for the whole event. 97.9 “The box” F.M. will also be making an appearance.
Students are urged to get this invaluable information so that they can get the help they need or the scare they need to not get wrapped up in a life of drug abuse.
