Senior guard Jourdan DeMuynck suffered a severe accident as he went for a layup. He was under swiped by Alabama A&M’s defense in the last 1:11 of the game and had to be carried out of the gym on a stretcher.
DeMuynck has been released and information from head coach Byron Rimm II said, “Jourdan Demuynck had a neck contusion from the impact.”
“He may end up sitting out a few practices, but we intend on him being able to play this weekend,” Rimm added.
While in recovery, DeMuynck has full intentions on playing this weekend against TSU.
