President George C. Wright held an open forum Monday in the Opal Johnson-Smith auditorium in the Memorial Student Center in an effort to push the year’s policy “A Year of Change.”
Members of the staff and faculty came out to express their concerns about the issues on campus.
Wright was joined by provost and senior vice president of academic affairs Dr. E. Johanne Thomas-Smith, vice president for research and development William Trotty, vice president for student affairs and institutional relations Lauretta Byars, vice president of business affairs Mary Lee Hodge, and vice president for administration and auxillary services and athletic director Fred Washington.
The panelists tackled many issues, including the flu outbreak, damaged roads, and customer service.
“We are going to start issuing out customer service cards to students, so that they can express their feelings about the quality of services they are receiving on campus,” said Wright.
The panelists said that the dress code policy will be enforced.
“Students should come dressed professionally because we want our students to set an example,” Byars said.
