Last Saturday, the Memorial Student Center was buzzing with activity as the video shoot for the Hip Hop Mega Dance took place.

The participating students finally got a chance to show off their skills, after attending three dance classes, each lasting three hours. With about sixty students dressed in a stylish black and white, the video was shot, starting from the second floor of the MSC, and ending on the steps outside. All the dancers moved in sync to the fast paced beats of Christina Aguilera's "Car Wash" and Sierra's "Goodies," and with a few other songs that brought back memories of B2K's movie "You Got Served."

Music was provided by 'P.V.'s own locally famous, Orok Orok, better known as D.J No Tables, who even participated in the video with his own solo spot.

The video shoot went on smoothly with a few five- minute breaks which gave the dancers time to catch their breath and get a drink to cool off. Dancers like Crystal Chatmon, a junior, and David Butler, sophomore, didn't mind dancing in the heat yet both commented that they "loved working with the choreographer, and that everyone was really nice and into it."

The video was produced by Niles Dillard, executive producer of Superior Video Productions, and a P.V. alumnus. Student Activities' own Gitonga M'mbjjewe also assisted in the filming of the video as one of the camera men.
