An open house of recognized student organizations was sponsored by the Department of Student Activities and Leadership on Jan. 25 in the MSC Ballroom.

Booths were set up to give students information about various organizations on the Prairie View campus.

"There is an open house every semester so students can have an opportunity in one place to learn about every organization on campus," said Denise Simmons, assistant director of Student Activities . " We want students to see what they can be involved in and how they can enhance their leadership skills."

"I believe that this event was well organized and informative. Every organization had enough space and it was a good opportunity to check out every organization on campus," said senior Natashia Octave.

Terrrance Livingston of the Blackstone Pre-Law Society said "We want students to know that there is an organization on campus that prepares students for law school and the legal profession."
