A good man at PV... yeah right!

Young men, boys, dudes, fellas, brothas, N words…whatever noun you want to use, what does it take to find a good one? Is it an urban legend that dates back many generations that hides the truth of finding a good man on a college campus, or on a personal level, here at PV? If so, what credit is due to the attitude for and against the "good man"?
Now of course, without any questions or answers, plenty of people will have their own speculations, and by the looks of things, the question alone is laughed at. The answer seems obvious that no, there isn't a good man on this campus. "They're all dogs and they're only after one thing," says 19 year old sophomore, Lauren Severit. After her recent transfer to PV, she already feels the heat.
A young lady, who requested to be anonymous, disagrees though. Going into her third year, she realized that not all guys are bad. "I was dating a guy for a while, and even though we had our ups and downs, he was always and still is a perfect gentleman… we don't date anymore, but on his behalf, I can say that he is at least one of a few great guys out here," she says.
Most guys who have heard how the females think of them feel dissatisfied with the response that there isn't a good man on campus. Marcus Howard, a graduate student, says, "These females don't know how to be treated. I open doors for them and most don't even say anything in response. If they don't know how a good man is to treat them, who are they to say there aren't any?"
Even though some fraternities on campus hold seminars that have discussions about women, do you think those are lost causes? Even though everyone wants their love, the females think the guys have a problem and vice versa. Some may say guys didn't learn the things they should have learned at home, so when they come to college, of course nothing would change. Others may say that even the guys with sense and have the "good qualities" still might come up short with the ladies. So what's the science on it? Is there a formula that can be downloaded? No, there isn't. We guys will just have to stick to what we know, and keep going forward. Unless, of course, there aren't any good women at PV.

I think there are good guys at PV. Society today has managed to let etiquette go by the wayside. In some cases, young do not know that it is the proper thing for a young man to hold a door open, open the car door and in some cases, they will also strap your seat beat without trying to cop a feel. what the problem is that the women at pv arent lookin for good men they want thugs and its plenty of (N-word) up here that aint thugs tryin to be

i think there are a couple good guys at pv but a lot of the girls act just like the guys do. So how do they ever expect to find anyone worth anything. (Continued…)
