Three students were involved in a collision at the junction of L.W. Minor Street and FM 1098 Wednesday, March 19.

The accident occurred when one vehicle, heading west on FM 1098, attempted to turn onto the campus and allegedly crashed into another vehicle heading east.

Both cars were severely damaged and were towed away from the scene.

Junior education major Katrina Dush was traveling in the car heading west with her infant in a car seat.

"It was really bad, airbags and everything," said Dush shortly after the accident.

Following the accident the infant was checked by the Emergency Medical Service for internal injuries and was allowed to return home when her father arrived to collect her.

No injuries were sustained.

Campus police were unavailable for comment.
