Cooler temperatures bring cuddling weather
What is your impression of the approaching "Cuffing Season?" The nights are starting to get cooler and the days are becoming shorter. A particular season is coming before us and it doesn't include fall or winter. Its cuffing season time. Cuffing season is when everyone and yes everyone does their best to get into a relationship for the upcoming fall and winter. The approach of this time is compelling. Most girls panic. They are nervous that they won't have that special someone to cuddle up with when its pouring down raining outside. Their greatest fear is being alone all winter. No boyfriend's family to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with, nobody to exchange cute little gifts with on Christmas, and no one to kiss under the mistletoe for the New Year. It is a priority for most females to find a boyfriend and keep him for as long as possible. Without a man during cuffing season, most girls take on the trait of jealousy. Freshman nursing major Madison Harris said, "I would be jealous being single during cuffing season because all you see are couples everywhere you go booed up." Men on the other hand look at cuffing season as another day in the year. "It's nothing special to me because cuffing season is year around. I can get a boo at anytime if necessary," said senior criminal justice major Darius Kelley. Some may take advantage of a girl's vulnerability during this time for the wrong reasons. They notice that women are so gullible to be with someone that they "cuff" them for only a couple of months, maybe even weeks and drop their companion like a bad habit. Sophmore chemical engineering major Kayla Robinson is sick of the "cuffing season" and says, "It's stupid. Don't just gal me for a couple of months. I'm too old for games, be real and a man and go for longevity." Many poeple think cuffing season is exaggerated. If someone wants to cuddle in the winter, why not in the summer, too? Turn your air conditioner on, snuggle up under a blanket, and do the same thing you would do in the winter.
