Student park nears completion
The new student park at the corner of L. W. Minor and O. J. Thomas Street that has been under construction since the spring is scheduled for completion by the end of September.
The park is intended to be a place to bring beauty to the campus and provide students with a place where they can relax and enjoy some down time.
Corey S. Bradford, senior vice president for business affairs, said, "This is a major step toward creating a more student friendly environment. Being student-centered is key. If we can ensure our students enjoy their experiences here at the university, that will go a long way toward growing and expanding the university."
